Dataset: Literature

Migrant literature—writings by and to a lesser extent about migrants—is a topic which has commanded growing interest within literary studies since the 1980s. Immigration debates flood news sources today, but the realities experienced by those who flee their homes in search of new opportunities oftentimes end up shoved to the margins. Though mostly fiction, migrant literature offers a valuable glimpse into what life is like for immigrants and their families.
